Bancor: Integrating HAL in the frontend
One of the pain points of using Bancor has always been the ability to react quickly when space opens up in a pool - especially for high volume pools such as LINK/BNT. A few weeks ago, we told you how we solved this problem by creating a Pool Liquidity Alert.
The team at Bancor liked this so much they took this one step further, and integrated our recipe directly in their frontend, so now if a Bancor user wants to stake, but the pool is full, they can click on a cool little button… 🔔
… that takes them directly on the HAL website, where they can set up their own notification in two clicks.
This is a perfect example to show how HAL can dramatically increase the usability of DeFi apps. Adoption has been massive: Bancor users created more than 1,000 different triggers in the last 30 days alone, democratizing access to sought-after pools such as LINK/BNT and in some cases creating huge rushes to stake, like what happened last week:

Polygon support is here, with tracking AAVE HF as the first recipe
We all know by now it’s going to be a hot L2 summer for DeFi 🔥 and Polygon is possibly the hottest L2 solution at the moment, thanks to project like Aave driving the adoption.

we never had so many users from the community asking us for a specific recipe, and the response has been super enthusiastic! You can track your HF using the recipes here. You can choose between being notified when your HF meets a threshold 😱 (say, lower than X) or you can choose to receive regular updates about your HF ⏰, perhaps daily, hourly, or whenever you want.
