The new year started with a bang for crypto in general, and for HAL in particular, as we integrated two of the hottest DeFI platforms out there: Perpetual Protocol and Yearn Finance 🥳

It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with the guys at Perpetual. Perpetual Protocol is a decentralized L2 exchange layer for any asset, made possible by a Virtual Automated Market Maker. It’s totally cool and you should really give it a go if you haven’t done so already 😎
We are honored to be the first team to receive funding as part of their new grants program ✌🏽🙇♀️
With their support, we built two new recipes on top of the xDAI chain, the first chain that HAL officially supports other than Ethereum Mainnet! The new recipes are:
- 💸😱 Liquidation Warning => you can get notified when the margin ratio of your position is below certain threshold.
And we’re not done yet! Our collaboration with Perpetual has just started, and we have more surprises in the pipeline.
Yearn Finance: Bot + Recipes combo 🤖 🤩 🔥
We’ve been working closely with the Yearn team to build a bot that notifies deposits and withdrawals from yVaults, and we were overwhelmed by the attention it received! ♥️

But bots aren’t enough - we also launched two recipes to enable the community to create custom yVault automations in a few clicks, connecting yVaults with Discord, Slack, Twitter, Telegram, emails and webhooks:
